Native Doctor Nabbed Over Failed Love Charms

A 52-year-old man, claiming to be a native doctor who prepares charms for love seekers, has been arrested by the police at B’ Division police station in Asaba, Delta State. The native doctor, Chukwuma Agbah, who is known for preparing love charms for
fun seekers especially those looking for wives landed in trouble after one of his charms failed.
A commercial taxi driver, Albert Okoh, had sought the help of Chukwuma to prepare herbs for his sick mother, claiming to have paid him N350,000 for the herb.
However, the native doctor, who claimed to have been trained in India in the art of preparing love charms into rings for men looking for wife as well as women looking for husband, said Albert came to him for a love charm to enable him get a wife.
But unfortunately, the love charm did not work. An angry Albert was said to have reported the matter to the police, saying he had been duped.
Speaking to Leadership, the victim said: “It is not true that I approached the herbalist for love charm. What I demanded for was herbs to treat my sick mother, and after collecting N350,000 from me, it did not work and I demanded for my money when he threatened to kill me before I petitioned the police.”
The police public relations officer in the state, DSP Celestina Kalu, who confirmed the incident, said the suspect was arrested on a petition to the police at the B’ Division by the victim.
She explained that investigation was ongoing, and the suspect may be charged to court upon completion of investigation.
