Go Get Paid - Chukwu Firmly Behind Keshi

Former Nigeria Chief Coach Christian Chukwu has said he wishes Keshi good luck with his choice to take up new challenges after taking the Super Eagles to the second round of the 2014 World Cup.
Chukwu, who was speaking with Vanguard reporter and a member of the technical committee of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) said: “The job of coaching is all about movement and it goes with the highest bidder.”
Keshi had criticized his relationship with the NFF
and Nigerian fans during and after the tournament, when he said his players felt unappreciated.
Chukwu said: “In addition to that, a coach, like any other worker looks out for better condition of service. So if Keshi is going for the highest bidder and better condition, I will advice him to go but if the new offer is not better than what he is getting here, then I will advice that he stays.”
The former versatile Super Eagles’ Captain praised Keshi for his success with the team, saying the Eagles over performed at the World Cup:
"They maintained our record of reaching the second round minding the fact that the team comprised of very young players who still have very bright future ahead of them."
It would be recalled that Christian Chukwu is the erstwhile coach of the Super Eagles, who failed to qualify them for the 2006 FIFA World Cup, hosted by Germany.
While Keshi had been successful and took the Eagles to the 2013 AFCON title and to the World Cup LAST16, he had been touted as going to be the new South Africa boss.
