congregation was in for a big surprise when their priest, Rev. Juan
Andres Quevedo-Bosch, 59, came out as gay just before divorcing his wife
and marrying a younger man.

The 59 year old priest took to his Facebook page to announce that he got married in a Los Angeles church. “I’m in Miami Beach with my new husband. God is good,” he wrote in a caption of a picture on the beach.
According to the New York Post, a church member said many parishioners have severed ties to the church after the Cuban-born priest out.
“In the congregation there are many people who are still supporting their priest, especially after he publicly offered to resign,” the church member said. woman added.

Quevedo-Bosch while speaking with New York Post, refused to answer questions about his former wife Adria or their divorce. He revealed very little about his new marriage to the unidentified man.

According to his Linkedin page, Quevedo-Bosch worked as an economic planner for the city of Havana in the early 1980swas before becoming a priest. He studied to be a priest in his native country.
